Born in Louisville, KY, Rich has spent most of his life living in Florida (Miami, Daytona, Tallahassee). A late comer to God's calling, Rich has a BA (Christian Ministry), a MA (Pastoral Leadership), a MDiv (Apologetics), and a DMin (Apologetics and Executive Administration) from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary). For the past 10 years, Rich has been pastor at Lakeview Baptist in Tallahassee and also currently is the Chapter Director for Ratio Christi at Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and Tallahassee Community College.
While Rich has been a Southern Baptist his whole life and currently preaches in a Southern Baptist Church, it is Rich's outlook that all Christians should work together to reach our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. All of Rich's ministry outside of the church he serves in is non-denominationally focused.
Rich serves on his local neighborhood community association and as an advisor to a city community board. Nationally, Rich is a member of Evangelical Missions to non-Christian Religions (EMNR, also board member), Evangelical Theological Society, Evangelical Philosophical Society, Evangelical Homeletics Society, and the International Society of Christian Apologists.
